anchoring a multi-vendor web project

The Challenge

A forward-thinking mutual fund company wanted to offer a new type of investment vehicle. The new product offered information updated on an hourly basis from a market data vendor on the east coast. Login ID's and passwords were already established and maintained by a secure custodian in the midwest. The web site itself was maintained by the fund company on the west coast. All three components—market data, access control, and web site content—had to integrate into a seamless, intuitive interface for the fund company's customers.

The Solution

Simplexity designed and created a private, encrypted connection between the web site visitor, the custodian and the market data vendor that makes all three locations look like a single, integrated information repository. Account data is protected from unauthorized users, and sent across the Internet encrypted. Informational and marketing data is easy to publish using reliable publishing tools.
